Sprawozdanie z Paraolimpiady w Jastrzębiu-Zdroju
| Jakub Krzyżanowski |Initially, we were not supposed to go to the Paralympic Games as the whole class but then teachers decided that everyone could volunteer. It started at around 10:25. There was a big opening at first where all the disabled children circled around the stadium where it all took place, then they sang their anthem and the Paralymic Games began. There were a lot of competitions for all the children such as standing up, turning head left and right, obstacle courses etc. Our job as volunteers was to help the children, play with them, make sure everything was OK during the competitions and just appreciate how hard it was for the disabled. We were given a hot drink and a cookie, and later those of us who were atill hingry could have stewed cabbage for dinner. The event went pretty well without any problems, the ending looked quite the same as the beginning but with thanks to all the people willing to help. The whole event ended at around 14:30. Everyone looked pretty happy for being able to help the disabled people. It was a meaningful experience for me.
