Discovering myself. Me and my new environment, Romania.

When I packed my stuff to the suitcase, I wanted to meet nice people and to get great experiences in Romania. Besides that I hoped to enjoy my job and to have good conditions in the center. Now I can say – everything is perfect! A normal day at work includes writing youth exchange project for youth between 13-19 years old, playing with children and teaching them English.

While working and living together with many foreigners I have learnt about other cultures, including Romanian. Now I know better my desires and what I want to do in my life.

These were my first positive impressions in this country – so hot, so nice, so cheap! I also expected to see ugly buildings and scary gypsies who may try to steal my bag.

Fortunately I have found many nice people here because of whom I want to come back to Romania one day.
